Entry to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
The following is a summary of the information on rules for entering Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from a "Corona risk area" and rules concerning quarantine:
On 11.10.2020 the decree of the state government was published regarding the ninth amendment of the quarantine regulation, which will be valid starting on 12.10.2020:
The regulation contains the following exceptions to the quarantine requirement for persons who:
- are entering or leaving Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on a daily basis or for up to 48 hours, for the purpose of their work that cannot be postponed;
- are enrolled at an institution of higher education within the definition of the first article of the State Higher Education Act and have neither primary nor secondary residence in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania;
- who have a secondary residence registered in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
Corona financial interim aid
In order to answer citizens' questions about the Corona crisis, the state government of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has set up the central telephone number 0385 - 588-11311.
It can be reached on Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
After calling the central telephone number, the respective topic can be selected by the caller via a number menu and thus connected to the responsible ministry.
